At an elevation of 10,378 feet, it's the highest full service restaurant in North America. On a clear day you can see 11,000 square miles of New Mexico's beautiful landscape. In the evenings, the city lights and sunsets are spectacular.
Accessible only by the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway, High Finance Restaurant is a "must do" when you visit Albuquerque. It's ideal for those special occasions; graduation, birthday, anniversary, special accomplishment and even a proposal.
The favorite seating is on the Lower Level along the west facing windows where you can see the views and watch the sunset in the evening. The Upper Level can accommodate larger groups. The Bar has traditional seats at the bar or a few tables that are great for an appetizer or drink if you have to wait for your table. Out on the Deck you can look out over Albuquerque and the Sandia Mountains or watch the Sandia Peak Tramway arrive and depart. It's a great place to take photos to remember the trip.
The Lunch Menu offers Appetizers like Chicken Quesadilla and Fried Calamari and Soups & Salads like a Grilled Tuna Salad Caesar Salad and Green Chile Stew. There is a selection of 1/2 pound Burgers like a Blue Cheese & Grilled Onion Burger and a local favorite, the Green Chile Cheeseburger. Other Sandwiches are Chipotle Barbeque Beef and Grilled Chicken Breast. The Pasta choices include Grilled Chicken Fettuccine
The Dinner Menu will satisfy the most traveled diner. Appetizers include classics like Shrimp Cocktail and local delights like Chipotle Wings. For Soup you can choose the Green Chile Stew or the Soup of the Day made fresh daily. Side Salads list Mandarin Orange Salad and a Caesar Salad. Dinner Entrées range from Grilled Chicken Florentine to Penne Pesto, to Grilled Salmon and Lobster Tail, to Prime Rib and New York Strip. The Combos are Sirloin & Lobster and Prime Rib and Lobster
There's an extensive Wine List that includes some local Wineries as well as California and international choices. The list also offers premium Scotch, Tequila and Cognacs
The Sandia Peak Tramway and dinner at High Finance Restaurant & Tavern is a must for any visitor, but locals also love to take a staycation and enjoy getting out of town and relaxing with a great meal.

Directions
From The Big "I" where Interstate 25 and 40 cross, go east about 5 miles and take Exit 167/Tramway Blvd. Go north on Tramway Blvd approximately 9 miles to the 3-Way Stop where Tramway Blvd and Tramway Rd meet. Turn right/east at the Stop and go about 1 mile toward the mountain on Tramway Rd, which becomes Tramway Loop. As you get to the parking area, turn left and park behind the building to avoid climbing the steep stairs. Take the Tramway to Sandia Peak where High Finance Restaurant is located.

From The Big "I" where Interstate 25 and 40 cross, go north on I-25 about 7.6 miles. Take Exit 234/Tramway Road and go east towards the Sandia Mountains on Tramway Rd about 5 miles. Tramway Rd will curve southeast just before it meets Tramway Blvd at a 3-Way Stop. Turn left/east at the Stop and go about 1 mile toward the mountain on Tramway Rd, which becomes Tramway Loop. As you get to the parking area, turn left and park behind the building to avoid climbing the steep stairs. Take the Tramway to Sandia Peak where High Finance is located.
There is a $1 Grounds Fee for the day and the Ride Up the Sandia Peak Tramway is $17.50 and there is a discount if you have reservations except during the Balloon Fiesta and some other special events.
Plan on being at the Base of the Tramway 30 minutes before your reservations
